Welcome to hcm,
Short answer. At her age heart attack is more commonly seen more over referred pain in the cheak is more commonly associated with heart attack.
Detailed answer the reddish discoloration of her eye is due to the age related macular degeneration. It may be due to some infections also. I think she needs a good examination from eye doctor and is to be treating accordingly.
The progression of the macular degeneration can be reduced by high intake of vitamins and antioxidants. Hope this finds helpful.
