What Causes Swollen And Movable Bump On Back Of Neck?

Hi I m a 19 year old male. I noticed a swollen bump on the back of my neck on the upper right side kind of behind the ear. I ve been keeping an eye on it and it hasn t gotten any bigger but hasn t gone away yet. It isn t painful but slightly movable (only slightly). It seems to get better when I stand up and becomes more noticeable when I lay down. This morning I noticed another bump on my lower neck on the left side which is also not painful. Should I be worried?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you probably got subcutaneous lipomas behind your ears.I think these are not harmful and nothing is advisable to be done. So no need to worry. At the most you can them excisional biopsy to confirm the diagnosis. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
