What Causes Swollen And Bruised Ankle After An Injury?

I sprained my ankle on Monday in a car accident and I went to Urgent Care to get checked and they did X-rays bc my right ankle was swollen!! No fracture but I still have pretty severe swelling and bruising so is this normal and my toes are starting to look bruised too sort of!! Should I go back to doctor or.....

if x Ray is normal so you have to suffering traumatic muscles injury.
so don't anxious about your injury.
recovery will come , it will take time.
you do it warm application and should be take painkillers medicine.
and rest.
