What Causes Swelling On The Sides Of Nose And A Lump Under The Chin?

Went to doctor a month ago. Flu like symptoms, swollen lymph nodes on back of neck, no fever. Doctor did CBC and test for mono, said I had nothing he could treat and suggested B12. Two weeks later I developed a firm lump under the skin on the side of my chin. One week after that I woke up and my face was swollen, chin, cheeks, lips and neck very painful. Finally went back to doctor, was prescribed pednisone. It worked for the first 3 days, then the swelling started back, but came down some before going back to doctor. Now swelling is gone except for same lump at chin and now on both sides of nose up to eyes and other side of chin. All are firm, puffy and painful. Doctor said could be a mild staph infection.....still no fever and perscribed 7 days of doxycycline 100mg. He also gave me another perscription for prednisone and said to take it if the anitbiotics don't work. My question is......could it be phlebitis? I had juvederm injections 3 months ago. I'm really worried, still very fatigued. I am female 42 yrs old 157lbs. Had gallbladder removed in July. No other health problems until then. Thank you.
