What Causes Swelling On The Penis?

I went to the bathroom and noticed the shaft of my penis right before the head of the penis was swollen. It was like there is a little bit of fluid in the shaft. I have been married for 25 years and not changed much in my life, so this was shocking to see. Thank you

In all probability you are having an inflammation of the penile shaft. The cause could be minor trauma. You would require antibiotics for resolving the inflammation. It may take about 5 to 7 days for healing. Please consult a general surgeon who can examine you, and give you the proper treatment.
