What Causes Swelling On Face After Applying Savlon For Cuts?
hi, i applied savlon to some scratches on my face(cheeck)..the scrarches are healing but the surrounding area that came in contact with savlon has become inflamed. i have applied cold water ..the burning subsided but it is still swolen and looks crapey..what should i do? will it scar?

It is possible that a scar may occur but as time progresses, the scar should remodel and should become less prominent.
Using an anti inflammatory pain killer such as ibuprofen, cataflam or naproxen may help to reduce the swelling.
Cold compress can also be applied.
