What Causes Swelling Of The Clitoris Post Unprotected Sex?
Hello, I was just wondering if I should be worried. I recently had unprotected sex with my partner and I took a Plan B the next day, well a day after I took that my clitoris became extremely sensitive and feels swollen. It doesn t burn or itch just very sensitive, it will come and go throughout the day. It s been about three days and it hasn t gone away.
Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
First of all do not panic.
Your symptoms can be due to friction and or some kind of infection or inflammation.
I will suggest you to abstain from sex activity for a couple of weeks. Apply ointment containing antibacterial and antifungal and mild steroid agents locally 2 times a day for 5 days. Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg can be taken as required for pain and to reduce the swelling.
I hope this answer helps you. Thanks. Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar.
