What Causes Swelling Of Lips After Popping A Pimple?
popped a zit ABOVE my lip (wasn t ON my lip). Afterwards, decided to put Neosporin on it before I went to bed. Woke up the next morning, and the top right side of my lip was completely swollen. Is it possible that I had an allergic reaction? If so, how long until the swelling subsides?

You might have developed furuncles.
These are deep bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
