What Causes Swelling Of Eyes With Itchiness?

My 21 month old daughter (21 lbs) was diagnosed with an ear infection on Friday and started on antibiotics. She had no pain or issues with the ears, but had abdominal issues. Today she has a discharge from her eyes. Her eyes are not swollen, red or itchy. Is it possible that this is from the ear infection? Will the antibiotic take care of this or do I need to take her back in to be seen?

possibility of infection of eye getting from ear is remote. it can be contaminated or touched from ear to eye. continue treatment of ear as advised . better you get her eye examined by eye doctor and antibiotic like ofloxacino.3% can be started 6hourly. maintain hygiene of face.
