What Causes Swelling In Upper Left Chest Area After Left Shoulder Injury?

My son hurt his left shoulder lifting weights- He lift the weights from the floor in a seated position. For some reason he has swelling in his upper left chest area. He is scheduled for a MRI of the neck and shoulder soon. What can I do to decrease the swelling in his chest. He said it tightens and hurts on occasions

I really appreciate your concern, for the symptoms given here if I would be doctor of this case then I would treat this case with any of NSAID and best would be "Tab Diclofenac 50 mg" once in day, this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
