m an 18 year old man who s been smoking for about 4 years. My smoking habits have been very unstable, mostly smoking only in social occasions, sometimes not even smoking at all. I would estimate an average of 4 to 8 packs a month. Lately I ve been feeling weak, getting tired a lot faster, lacking of breath when doing intense sports or sprints. At night I get a wheezing noise and a small breathlessness for a few seconds. I ve been having colds and throat pains more frequently. I might have swollen veins, not sure exactly as I ve always had large prominent veins in my arms Felt pain in my extremities, specially in my arms when I type in the computer. Ive drastically reduced my smoking habits, however I am scared this could be something serious. Should I consult a doctor? Urgently ? Symptoms of what are these? What tests should I have?
