Hi. my son is 6 months old and learning how to crawl. teething too but yesterday i noticed that his testacles are swollen. what could be the problem? he also has a rash on his face, chest and back, it that measles? no red eyes but has diarrhea. Thanks Doctor
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. It could be any viral exanthematous illness as it associated with rash. But any fever with rash should be of concern in this age group. I suggest you consult your paediatrician immediately. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry about diarrhea. Antibiotics might worsen if unnecessarily used causing antibiotic associated diarrhea. I suggest you use zinc supplements & ORS... Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
