What Causes Swelling In Testicle?

My right testicle has been swollen for quite some time. It has probably been a few months maybe longer. I haven't felt any pain what so ever. I would say it is probably double the size of the other testicle. it is not solid and it does hurt if squeezed like any other normal testicle. What could this be and should I be greatly concerned?

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The possible cause could be a mass lesion in the testicle, collection of fluid in the tunica sac / hydrocele, inflammatory changes can also cause swelling.
2.In this case you need to get an ultrasound scan done - ultrasound is investigation of choice.
3.Ultrasound will evaluate the nature of the swelling weather mass lesion, fluid collection, inflammatory changes with in the testis and status of epididymis and chord.
4.In case of mass lesion FNAC - fine needle aspiration cytology to evaluate the nature of the cells.
5.So sugget to get an appointment and evaluate the cause and get needful treatment. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
