Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Her symptoms seem to be related to an infection. The fact that she feels dizzy when standing up could be a sign of orthostatic hypotension.

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with her doctor for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a resting ECG
- a chest X ray study
- an abdominal ultrasound
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- kidney and renal function tests.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been hepful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
