What Causes Swelling In Legs?

My Grandma's age is 74 yrs. she had urine problemin near past and after medications she was fine. but now her legs are swollen too much. not able to walk easily due to severe swelling. so which type of doctor to be consulted and what has caused this???

There are many causes of Swelling of Legs . Most common among them are Low protein levels in blood , Abnormal Blood circulation in the legs , Kidney problems or Heart Problems .

First you need to consult a Physician for the evaluation of cause of swelling . He shall do certain blood tests, Urine tests and Scanning of legs and heart to decide where exactly is the problem .

Medications for this depends on the cause of swelling .
