What Causes Swelling In Leg Post Injury?
Hi, my boy fell off a wall and had a gaping would near his shin, it has been glued yesterday but today his leg and foot is swollen. Took him back to A&E but they said it s not infected but because he isn t using his leg very much. Would this ring true? I m worried.

Leg swelling is common in poorly mobilized limb particularly in bed ridden post surgery...
All u need is to rule out whether he z not developing compartment syndrome since it can occur in this setting.....
Consult orthopedic surgeon for it
