What Causes Swelling In Left Eye After Insect Bite On Left Side Of Body?

hi my daughter has had a insect bite on her left side of her body then about one and a half hours later she had a bath and her left eye swelled up very quickly after she got out do u think the insect bite could of coursed any of it or do u think she might of just splashed her eye in the bath and caused the swelling. if u could help would be great

Swelling of left eye might be due to insect bite surrounding that eye area.
Be watchful for next time.
Start levocetrize with short course of mild steroid.
You can apply calamine lotion on biting area to get cool effect.
It will subside within 3 to 5 days with medicines course.
Consult your family physician for further guidance and proper medical management.
