Hello. I am a healthy 41 year old. I ve never broken a major bone, or spent a night in the hospital until july 3 rd of this year. I snapped my femur cleanly after falling 18 feet from a scaffold. I had a rod and two screws placed inside my femur. My question is, why do I have so much pain and swelling in my knee? The break was closer to my hip. The doctors say im healing remarkably well, and to just keep doing what im doing. I ve done no PT, I have just slowly eased back into my cabinetry, and trim carpentry business
