Hi: I am female 61 / 5 8 /weigh 289 and wear eye glasses (transitions). I have been using eye drops occasionally, for dry eyes as per my eye doctor prescribed 2 weeks ago. I have trouble driving for a lengthy amount of time (my eyes hurt and I have to pull over and rest them briefly) but I work on a computer crunching numbers all day and attribute that to my eyes hurting. Yesterday, after a two hour drive with the A/C on & the window opened sometimes, I arrived at my destination with the right eye puffy and swollen under the skin(the part under the lower eyelash). My eye is not pink, not oozing, no sign of a bite. It does feel under the eyelid (the part over the eyeball) that I have a hive.. similiar to when I am indoors near a dog for awhile. No pets at my destination. When near a pet, it clears up 30 minutes being outside. Not in this case. It did slightly decrease when indoors for a while but the day after, there is still some swelling. I have HB pressure & slow thryroid. No change in my meds or food. What is going on?
