What Causes Swelling And Redness On A Spider Bite?
My son came home with what looked like flea or spider bite on back I leg...it had a white head so I popped it, lots of creamy mayo like fluid came out ....now it has been two days and it s swollen, red and continues to drain out blood and clear liquid once he soaKs in bath?

Flea or spider bite produces release of lots of inflammatory mediators that leads to swelling redness and pain at the site
since you had pressed it so you aggregated the injury and infection could have set in
in such a case I would advise you take antibiotic ointment to be applied locally with tab cetirizine to reduce itching and acetaminophen for pain relief
