What Causes Swelling And Red Patches On The Penile Shaft?

This is a little embarrassing but about 1 month ago I ve started developing very large scabs on my shaft of my penis just under the head. They are about the size of a thumbnail and fall off very easy with little pain. But leave swollen red patches underneath. I haven t had sex in a very long time and have always been careful. I ve used polysporin numerous of times with no effect. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I think it can be due to some infections. Get yourself examined by a dermatologist. You may need some antibiotics and antifungal drugs. You can also apply some ointment containing antibiotics and antifungal drugs.
