What Causes Swelling And Irritation In The Vagina?

Hello Doctor, I guess I am suffering from vaginal infection but I am not sure that it is yeast or BV. and I don t know any good gyne in delhi. and I don t want to go to any random doctor.. I am having intense itching, swelling, and irritation on the surface, and large amount of vaginal discharge is also there (very thick white cheese or butter (lil bit yellow)... Please help... and please if you can priscribe me some medicine.

Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
From the symptoms &type of vaginal discharge.. you seem to have trichomonial vaginitis (though confirmation would be after phydical examination)&prescribing without proper examination is not proper.
I usually prescibe tabblet flucanozole (2 tablets stat) along with Vaginal pills &local ointments. B complex suppliments. Treatment is given to both sex partners.&repeated as per need after doctor's advise till it's cured.
Gennital hygiene/avoiding sex with infected person is important to avoid recurrance
