What Causes Swelling And Feeling Of Mass In Throat?
I was eating supper and noticed a funny feeling when I swallowed. I felt the left side of my throat and noticed a sudden swelling. I feel a like a golf ball size mass thats not really tender to the touch. The swelling has seem to gone down some. What could this be?

hello thanks for the quiery..the funny golf sized ball swelling could be the salivary gland swelling before meal times,,it could be caused by salivary calculi,,or it could also be swollen lymph nodes,,u could do further investigations like ultrasound exmtn, either ways consult a oral medicine or ent specialitst for the same,, hope it helps,,tc
