What Causes Swelling And Bump In Labia Majora?

Hi, I just recently did a self exam which I usually forget to do. This time I found that the lower part of my left labia majora is swollen and when touched a bump can be felt with slight pain. I have also had some spotting which I'm not sure is do to my birth control, oncoming period or sex. A few days ago I was also experiencing a kettle discomfort when urinating, there was slight burning sensation at the entrance of the urethra and a foul odor. Although the burning has gone away, my urine still has that foul smell when voiding. Please help.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to bartholin gland infection. A pelvic examination swab and urine routine should be done to rule out the condition. Antibiotic therapy will be needed. In case of any abscess formation incision and drainage should be done also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
