What Causes Swelling And Bruise In Groin After An Injury?

Hello and thank you for your support. I recently reinjured a groin injury by slipping on some ice. I am 62 and the area just above and to the right of the penis became a little swollen and bruised.. After 2 days, it is feeling much better. Should I be worried of see a doctor.? Thank you for your attention to my issue. Regards, Ric Blackburn.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi
Thank you for your query

As per the scenario,I would recommend you to see a doctor,as he can examine the parts of the injured penis, and look for any abnormality.Swelling and bruises are caused when there are any internal injuries on a certain body part.I would definitely recommend you to get it checked asap,as it is one of the sensitive parts of your body, and you should not ignore any internal injuries to the same.

Thank You.
Stay Healthy.
