Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that there has been severe infection at the sight of Root canal treatment leading to swelling and restricted mouth opening also known as Trismus..

It will not resolve with only painkillers and muscle relaxants and you need to consult an Endodontist and get evaluated and a thorough evaluation will be done..

You will be given high doses of oral antibiotics and injectable antibiotics to reduce the infection along with anti inflammatory painkillers..
Do cool compresses over the cheek..
Gradually when the swelling will subside an ray of the tooth will betaken and if tooth will be in a condition to be saved re-root canal treatment under antibiotic coverage will be done..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
