What Causes Sulfur Tasting Belches And Brown Vomiting With Occasional Diarrhea?

I am a 51 year old female in good health. About 2 times a year for the last 5 years, I start having sulfur tasting belches that build in intensity over 3~4 hours. Neither Tums, pepto or soda water (or soda like 7-Up, cola, ginger ale, etc) seem to have an effect. Eventually I will vomit a brownish paste-like substance that also has a strong sulfur smell.... which causes me to vomit and gag even more (as it's disgusting). Rarely I will also get diarrhea (challenging if I'm still vomiting which is probably TMI!). I have not been able to figure out any commonalities like a food reaction, it being stress related, etc. I've not been able to find anything online with these symptoms so am wondering if it's something benign or something I should see my doctor about.Thank you for your help!
