Hi welcome to HCM.
Suffocating sensation in the chest can be due to underlying coronary heart disease. This should be evaluated through baseline ecg and screening 2 dimensional echocardiography.Drugs like antihypertensives and inotropes can help to improve the cardiac output and reduce the symptoms.Stress management can help to reduce anxiety related symptoms.Consult your cardiologist for further care.Thank you.
