I am 57 female. I have gained a lot of weight over the last 8 years and am always feeling very bloated, and am always constipated.. I have to use something to make my stomach work otherwise it just bloats up more. I am using high fibre tablets at the moment and today I had cramps, and barely made it to the toilet in time. My stool was softish and sticky and had a long stringy something in. I could not figure out what it was. What could the problem be?
