What Causes Sudden Unusual Growth Under The Tongue?

I have an odd sort of growth under my tongue on the bottom of my mouth that popped up out of no where. I can actually move it around a little bit with my tongue and it feels like a skin flap kinda thing. I really don t know how else to explain it, but looking at it in the mirror its   almost clear and it s just hanging there by a thin but wider piece of skin, I can easily flip it over with my tongue and move it around, what is thus do you think?

Hello. Read your query and noted the contents.

Please visit a head and neck surgeon / ENT surgeon and get a biopsy done. Its abnormal to have such a growth and all types of growth (especially ones that increase in size rather rapidly) need to be proven harmless with a biopsy. Its better than way.

Please feel free to drop in any more queries if need be.
Warm regards,
Dr Praveen
