What Causes Sudden Swelling In The Upper Lips Despite Taking Benadryl?

hi my 7 year old daughter s upper lip suddenly became swollen. She has not eating or drank anything different.I have her a teaspoon of Benadryl and have he put ice pack on it. her lip is still swollen. This has been about 2hours since she showed me her lip. What could it possibly be???

As per your history is concerned you have given right medications for food and insect allergy.Please check her body temp for up to 72 hours during every 6 hours and record it.(Thanks)
