What Causes Sudden Soreness And Pain In The Nipples?

im a 22 year old male, I was carrying some groceries from down stairs to my apartment and its 16F degree outside. And a while later my nipples started to hurt. There swore, hard, and in a. Lot of pain. What does it mean doctors. Please someone help me.

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
I think it may be due to trauma.
Take ibuprufen three time a day
Apply cold pad compression.

Other causes may be
Most common-Hormonal imbalance : High /lack of estrogen and progesterone
Breast cyst, Breast cancer, Breast size, Excessive stress, Alcohol and caffine use

You can do following test if remain long time:
1. Hormonal profile: LH, FSH, Prolactin, Estrogen, progesterone
2. Mammography

Treatment:
1. Life style cahnges
- 30 min regular walk
- Wear supportive pad bra
- use of Ice pack
- Relaxation excercise: breathing technique
- Low fat diet
- High fiber intake
- Decreased salt intake
- Multivitamin intak
2. drug: Hormonal replacement therapy after doctor consultation
3. Gentle massage with prime rose oil
4. Acupuncture therapy
