What Causes Sudden Rise In Bp Levels?

46 yr old woman, until year ago, BP always @ 100/60 or highest 120/70. Over last year every time I take it, it is high! Average @ 155/110 with pulse at 085. And that s at start of day, no coffee or stress. Seems high while sleeping sometimes, but I am thin and very active and doesn t bother me while running through busy day. Do I really need to worry and seek care? Could it be caused from my current early menopause (no period in 9 months)?

Thanks for asking at HCM
I have read your question and understand your concern.
Well near to 50s the blood vessels become less elastic and the compliance of vascular system is decreased, which may result in essential hypertension. And being lean and thin doesn't mean that your lipids are normal. I think you should have your lipid profile done and consult a doctor. and last thing a salt free diet may be of some help.
wish you good luck
