hiiiii

at the age of 98 almost most of the brain function shows more or less kind of dysfunctions

if cerebral atrophy become more prominent than it seems more sudden worsening in symptoms
and she had a lot of medical history too
so at age of 98 it is expected
due to medical illness with HTN there are possible chance of small lacunar infract in brain also but can be confirm by CT scan
age related senile atrophy also produces same changes

so if it is fast in progression u need to consult neurologist
but as per my opinion it can be possible to stop progression but we will not reverse back all damages that she had already
so supportive and only symptomatic management is possible
thank u hope for the best
