What Causes Sudden Increase In Weight With Hair Loss And Irregular Periods?

I have always had a problem putting on weight, even just a couple of pounds. Within the past 2 months, I have gained 7. 2 months ago, I was at 113 which has been a steady number for me for the past 4 years, and I am now 120. I also, what seemed like within just a few weeks, lost a significant amount of hair, particularly in the front - my widows peak has decreased significantly. My mother does have female pattern baldness, and all three of my older brothers started losing their hair in their 20s (I am 25). I did not get my period this pass cycle. However, my periods have never been regular (besides when I used birth control... which I stopped 4 years ago). I have taken two pregancy tests, which came out negative. What gives?

As from your query your symptoms suggestive of hypothyroidism.
weight gain,irregular periods,hair loss were the symptoms of thyroid hormone insufficiency.
but the same symptoms may also found in poly cystic ovarian disease.

Kindly do Thyroid profile test and ultrasound abdomen to rule out the any abnormality.
also visit a physician for physical and systemic examination.
