What Causes Sudden Elevation In The Liver Enzymes In The Blood Test Reports?

I recently had blood work and my liver enzymes were elevated. This has never happened before. I am a 43 year old female. 3 months ago my blood work was normal. Over the past month I have added vitamin e, d, a multi vitamin, nature thyroid, evening primose and tylenyol. I am panicked about this and my doc doesnt seem to worried. Suspects meds is the problem and retest in 4 weeks. I have stopped all meds and alcohol for 7 days. Would it be too soon to retest, could they come down in that time if that is the problem.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your liver enzymes are elevated. It is seen in liver damage. It may be caused by alcohol, drugs, toxin or hepatitis. If you have suspected drug toxicity you should stop all medication. It will come back to normal within a month. No need to big worry. Just be relaxed.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
