What Causes Sudden Drop In BP Levels?

I am a 81 year old female in relative good health. I have been treated for high blood pressure for many years, recently I have experience a trend of LOW blood pressure. I spent 3 days and 2 nights in the hospital after the last episode, however I am now experiencing low bp again. My pressure today is 86/46 with a pulse of 61. I have only been out of the hospital for less than a week. Should I be concerned? I live alone so what should I do? My e mail is YYYY@YYYY .

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, hypotension is not it self it has got some conditions which demands the immediate medical attention it is really matter of concern, spinal disease need to be ruled out, again clinical condition and symptoms would be more important one, in absence of this no need to worry about it, hope this information may helps you take care and have a nice day.
