Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello Doctor.I ve never used this before. I am a 68 year old male with hypertension (genetic) no diabetes, watch what I eat, etc. However, this am my blood pressure dropped dramatically to 103/83. I have not felt right all day and left work early.....this has never happened before and wondering what it could be,
Firstly don't worry so much as this blood pressure is not so low. 100/60 is the lower normal limit of blood pressure, in your case it is above this range. However since you have symptoms like not feeling well, the cause of low blood pressure in your case is most probably reduced fluid intake. Or accidently over dose of your hypertension medicine.
You take rest and take plenty of water for one day, if there is no improvement in symptoms please visit your treating physician. I hope my reply will benefit you. Please write for follow up queries. I wish you good health. Thank you. Kindly rate this reply.
