What Causes Stuffy Nose And Green Mucous With Ear Discomforts?

Hi , i was wondering what is going on? I have been sick for 10 now overall i feel ok. I had a fever ,my head felt like i was held under water, my neck was stiff,i had a constant headache. Stuffy and runny nose and wet feeling in my ear. Now I m not having any of those symptoms except my nose is still stuffy and I m blowing pea green mucus out. Which is odd because my nose pretty much was clear or vanilla pudding color while i was sicker. Also when i blow my ears feel like i have water in them and make a tissue paper crinkle sound when i blow.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The secretion of green mucus is definitely indicative that you are suffering from an active infection and you need to take a proper course of an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicines and decongestant nasal drops and steam inhalations along with multivitamins and other medicines for symptomatic relief.
You should atop blowing the nose as you already are feeling the ears like having water.
Secondly it is always better to take an opinion of an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination, investigations and to get appropriate prescriptions.
You need the investigations of the blood, urine, gram staining, culture and sensitivity of the green nasal discharge.
I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
