What Causes Stroke Symptoms After Open Heart Surgery?
Hi. My 73 yr old dad just had his second open heart surgery. This time is to replace a valve. It s been 24 hrs and he did not wake up. Doctors say, blood pressure and temperature are good as well as the heart is functioning properly. First scans do not show any sign of stroke and they did AEG or EAG on the brain. Any reason?Any solution?

He may have had a stroke and if he doesn't wake up in another day or two he needs another scan since there are times when a stroke doesn't show on a scan early on
