What Causes Stretched Out Epiglottis After General Anesthesia?
I had general anesthesia yesterday for gallbladder removal. I guess they had tubes down my throat because today I feel like I'm going to swallow my epiglottis. It looks stretched out & touches my tongue. Will this go away? Will it heal & be normal again?
it will come down to normal position on its own . few patients experience this . but u need not worry. there will be some edema post intubationu . that will subside
