Hello, I am a 56 year old female. I hat a hiatal hernia surgery with complications 4 years ago. Embolisms and now have PHT. I wake up several mornings a week, stomach upset, gagging, retching until I gag up water or a discolored mixture of mucas and light fresh blood.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the respiratory symptom with bleeding symptoms then it needs medical attention apart from the hernia it could be due to infection, it could be due to acid peptic disease it could be due to cardio-vascular pathology, so it can not be taken as granted but better to see the doctor hope this information helps.
