What Causes Stomach Pains, Dizziness And Bubbling Feeling In Stomach?
Hi, my girlfriend is having bad Sharp stomach pains that move up to her chest, she is also kind of dizzy, says she feels the pain then after the pain a sort of fuzzy bubbling feeling in her stomach... What possibly could this lead to? She's also ajlready had her cycle about a week or so ago
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Sharp stomach pains that rise up to chest and sort of bubbling feeling in stomach and feeling dizzy at such times and having had her menses a week ago indicate that there may be a problem like gastroenteritis.
This can be diagnosed by the following: • Get her stool and blood checked. • Ask her to consult the doctor to get a clinical evaluation and ask for any further investigations like ultrasonography and upper GI endoscopy. He shall also prescribe her a PPI like Pantoprazole and antibiotics, if required, along with other symptomatic and supportive therapy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T Chandrakant
