What Causes Stomach Pain, chronic Diarrhea And Gas?

I have had stomach pains and chronic diarrhea, gas, and a bloating feeling for several months now. I have been deployed twice. My doctors keep saying it is dyspepsia but every time they give me medication it stays the same or gets worse. Sometime have uncontrollable urges to go to the bathroom. Fatigued quite a bit lately. Eat a pretty clean and healthy diet. Exercise 6 days a week for at least 1 hour per day. Ranges anywhere from mild to severe pains in my upper to middle abdominal region. I use the bathroom at least 4 times or more a day. Typically starts as soft stools and by the second or third time it s usually just watery along with gas. I m becoming concerned and I cannot seem to get an answer or help with the situation from the military doctors or the VA doctors I have seen recently either.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern especially while it is affecting your daily life.
Considering your symptoms, it seems like you are having irritable bowel syndrome. This is a condition in which you can have diarrhea, constipation or both. Unfortunately there is no proper medication for this condition. You should change your lifestile by eating smaller meals, try to avoid food from which you get diarrhea (especially coffee, cola, spicy food., alcohol..), drink a lot of fluids.

My suggestion is to visit a gastroenterologist to make proper examination because there are also other conditions which could lead to your symptoms.

I hope this answer was helpful to you.
