What Causes Stomach Pain With Sneezing And Breathlessness?

It started 8 months ago.. sneezing. thought just a bit of hayfever, anti-histamines were useless, intensified progressively to the point of gasping for air and throwing up. had to quit my job. had chest xrays-clear. have considered post nasal drip/gastro-oesophageal reflux but this usually causes coughing not sneezing, on nasonex and a puffer thing..do not have itchy runny eyes, nose or rash as in allergy.. and have travelled thru half the country, multi climate/environs. I'm exhausted, asked for stomach scan as I ache particularly round the stomach, spleen area. Its debilitating, embarrassing and painful Been too long

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is understandable to be frustrated. Sneezing usually occurs in response to irritation of the nasal passages. The most common causes would be acute infections such as the cold or allergies.

Since the cold would be unlikely because of the time frame, you may want to consider allergy testing.
It is possible that you are being re exposed to the trigger causing the sneezing.

With testing, you would be able to identify and hopefully reduce your exposure.

I hope this helps
