Abdominal pain associated with diarrhea is suggestive of gastrointestinal tract (GIT)infection. A broad spectrum covering gram positive, gram negative and anaerobes is usually recommended for GIT infection. However, I would suggest you to get a stool test for routine microscopy to look for evidence of infection. In the meanwhile you need to take light freshly cooked food, more of fluids and avoid fatty and spicy food. You can take painkiller or antispasmodic if pain is severe.
HI Well come to HCM Most of the diarrhea are self limiting until and unless proved, hydration is the only matter here, else the frequency of 3 to four stool passing would be normal and this may not need any treatments, take care ( Comment:- Diarrhea more or less is positive feed back mechanism)
