What Causes Stomach Pain In A Child?

my son and daughter had the wish bone part of the chicken on sunday. My daughter put hers in the bin and my son ate his without me getting to him first. He is 2 and a half and although he has been for a poo a few times, he is complaining of a sore belly. Do you think he could have hurt himself? what should i do?

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi.... even if he has swallowed the part it is likely to get digested, so do not be concerned about this. I feel that he might have a mild stomach flu or viral diarrhoea. Unless your son is having very low urine output or blood in the motion or green coloured bilious vomiting and abdominal distention with other signs of dehydration you need not worry about this.
