What Causes Stomach Pain And Vomiting After Teeth Extraction?
My 17 year old son had his wisdom teeth removed this morning and they gave him pain meds and antibiotics. He was complaining about his stomach hurting as soon as we got home, but then we thought it went away after eating and resting but he has been vomiting and having a bad stomach ache for the last 5 or 6 hours. I tried the no eating or drinking for an hour and gave him sips of coke. What else can I try. Do I need to take him to the emergency care?

The symptoms you are narrationg point towards the acidity & acute gastritis the reason might be the fasting , the painkellers a& the antibiotics given by the dentist. Now you can start him with the following medications & he will be fine .
antacid syrup 2 tsf ( stat ) just now
Tab rabeprazole+ domperidone (20 + 30 mg ) two times a day before food
tab lactobacilli ( sporolac DS / vibact ) two times a day after food
you can continue the pain killers & antibiotics.
Give him soft & bland diet & Milk & milk products such as curd , buttermilk etc for ttoday & tomorrow
