Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
.Doctor gudday sir, i am 26years old lady. I am 2.5fit tall. I am having a rising strong stomach pain after eating which causes severe hotness in and outside my stomach and takes a longer time before settling down.
Moreso, if I go for toileting, my excreats are often greenish. Pleas Dr, what drug can I go for?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood the concerns. Severe pain in abdomen on eating that takes time to settle is usually due to severe gastritis and acidity related problems. Te green stool is usually indicative of an intestinal infection. So this may be a case of gastroenteritis. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Get a consultation of a Doctor. Get the stool and blood tested. Get started with an antibiotic active against intestinal infection, a PPI like Omeprazole, antacids and probiotics. Also take a symptomatic antispasmodic. Upper GI endoscopy is a must, colonoscopy may be needed if the problem is long standing. Take soft and bland diet, avoid anything that instigate or enhance the symptoms.
