What Causes Stomach Pain And Coldness In Feet While On Gabapentin?

My mom takes gabapentin for neuropathy. Lately, she s been having stomach pains and her feet have been feeling cold (as well as her entire body) after taking Gabapentin around 8:30 - 9:00 PM. During the day, she s doing pretty well. What is causing the bad stomach pains in the evening and the coldness she s feeling (although her feet are warm to the touch) at night?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of your Mother taking Gabapentin for neuropathy.
Lately she is having stomach pains and feeling cold feet in spite of they are warm in the night.
This is called parasthesia where the feeling of the sensation is changed.
The stomach pains can be due to the medicines as gastritis or can be due to hyper-acidity or intestinal infection; needs detailed history or the best way is to stop gabapentin under the guidance of a Doctor and see if the things are reverting back or not. If not means there is problem with something else.
Take the treatment accordingly.
